We - the 6 Austrians which booked an roundtrip between 27th January and 16th February 2018 via your agency - want to take the opportunity to say thank you for organizing 3 amazing weeks in Ethiopia. Especially Abush, our reliable driver, knowledgeable tour guide, tireless support, resourceful facilitator ... was mainly responsible for a smooth sailing and deserves the highest praise from our group. Abush has a very rare skill to always engage with the right attitude, depending on the situation and circumstance and contributed a lot that some confusion with the German itinerary got sorted out immediately and to our full satisfaction. We also want to give you some general feedback on the overall organization. Even though it was very convenient to have a German itinerary of the tour, it was not very helpful for non-German speakers and we had to constantly translate the plan, which sometimes resulted in some misunderstandings which could have been avoided. There were unfortunately some serious hiccups during the trekking tour in the Simien Mountains. I understand that you only book this tour with the local guides and they take it from there, but I copied you in the Mail to them as well as it maybe can help you the next time you are dealing with them. Thanks to Abush again we sorted everything out in the end. The tour to the Danakill desert was an absolute highlight. Here we were assigned to a fabulous support team (drivers, cook, police) which were really successful in looking after us. We only had some issues with understanding each other, as the team did only speak English a little, but this had no influence on the overall impression of the tour. The accommodation you pre-booked for the tour were all very good and we never had any complains or issues. Overall we had a fabulous 3 weeks in Ethiopia with a very good mixture of activity and culture and we enjoyed every minute of it.
